Sallie Ray Walker 1948-2019

Our mom, wife and grandmother (AKA) grumpy was the most loving, giving and understanding person we all knew. On Tuesday, May 7, 2019, surrounded by loved ones, Sallie Rae Walker passed away peacefully at the age of 70. Born in Albuquerque NM, to Ray and Evelyn Scott, she grew up with her sister, Sandra in Albuquerque NM. Though times were tough that life shaped Sallie with a loving heart for others and would do anything to help someone out. Her family was everything to her she loved them so much. Sallie leaves behind her husband of 55 years, David G. Walker; her three children, Keith,Walker, Leslie and husband, Ramiro, Michael Scott Walker, Karrie and husband, Ed; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Evan, RaeAnna, Gabi, Jessica, Jake, Brittnay, Jasmine, Madlynn; her sister, Sandra Parson; brother, Vernon Scott; nephew, Steven Scott; and numerous family and friends she loved dearly. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at FRENCH-University. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church 315 Coal Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
