Russ Forte died Monday, December 18, 2017 of complications from a fall. Russ was born on November 30, 1962, the son of Sara and Andrew Forte. He lived in Albuquerque his whole life. Russ graduated from Eldorado High School and took welding and computer classes at TV-I. He worked as a Mechanical Designer, most recently with Raytheon.
Russ is survived by his wife of 24 years, Anita, who teaches English at Del Norte High School; and their two daughters, Victoria, who attends Eastern New Mexico University, and Kristina, who will graduate from Eldorado High School in 2018.
A Memorial Service to honor Russ’ life will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017, 1:00 p.m., at FRENCH – Wyoming. There will also be a potluck reception with details to be given at the service. Friends are welcome to bring dishes to share as well as gifts of meals suitable for freezing (with no corn products, please).
