Ruby Aileen Marshall Blatch

Ruby Marshall Blatch, age 88, loving mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Thursday March 10, 2016. Ruby's sweet nature, giving spirit and extraordinary beauty inside and out will be remembered forever. She enjoyed "piddling" around her home and always taking care of those around her. Friends lovingly called her "Ruby Doobie" and whatever she had was shared. But more than her generosity was her kind spirit and short term forgiveness. Her trust and loyalty was often taken for granted but never forgotten or misunderstood by those who loved her. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Jay Myers; and her grandchildren, Jonelle Myers and her fiancé Christopher Gutierrez, Jason Myers, and Jaclyn Myers. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert "Bobby" Ferrell and Kenneth Ferrell. She also leaves nieces, nephews and cousins. Ruby's life was also deeply touched by her friends in Port Alto and Seabrook Texas. Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Marshall and Joseph Blatch. A visitation and viewing will be held Wednesday March 16, 2016 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at FRENCH-Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112.
