Mike Collado passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Mike was a good husband, father, son, brother, and granddad. He was a proud fireman, retiring after 25 years with the Albuquerque Fire Department, then working at Sandia National Laboratory.
Mike was a true man's, man with a tender heart. Mike was a protector and a hero, respected by many. He was passionate about history, firearms, and his country. As a fireman, Mike responded to the needs of the 9-11 attacks without hesitation. His boldness and courageous heart will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Mike is survived by his wife, Annette; sons, Zachary and David; stepdaughters, Jules and Vanessa; his parents, Ruben and Anne Collado; brother, Richard Collado and wife, Kathleen; sister, MaryAnn Collado; his grandmother, Iluminada Golderos; and his six grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd NW in Albuquerque.
