Roy Rollman

Roy Rollman, 94, our beloved husband and father passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021. His is survived by his wife of 77 years, Viola; sister, Phyllis; children, Kris, Marcia, Mike, Jim and Laura; grandchildren, Pat, Heather, Deb, Andrew, Ben, Joe, Emma, and Mike; and many great-grandchildren. Born in South Dakota, he grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Colorado, South Carolina, and then to New Mexico.

Roy was a World War II veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater as a surgical technician. After the war he became a master plumber and an insurance salesman. He was passionate about his family, golf, and fishing. Though he never attained his dream of being a forest ranger, he remained a lover of nature and wildlife. He was a free thinker who refused to follow the crowd.

Memorial donations may be made in Roy's name to The American Cancer Society.
