Rosemary "Rose" Virginia Platt

October 24, 1942 — September 22, 2024

Rosemary Virginia Click was born on October 24, 1942, in Silver City, New Mexico to Nelda and Kelly Click. She has two sisters Cheryl Werner (Cray) and Debbie Matheny (Paul). Rose was a member of the Rainbow Girls when she was a teenager. Rose attend college at Western State in Silver City. She met the man of her dreams, Stephen Platt and were married on December 14, 1962, in the Logan temple. They have three children Sherry Daugherty (Joe), Tina Behrman (Rick), and Todd Platt (Melissa).

They also have nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She enjoyed doing activities and going to sporting events and spending times with her kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed having her grandkids give her that special feeling that she lived for. 

Rose loved Christmas best of all and “was a NUT over it”, that was in her own words. She loved every part of Christmas, the cooking, the songs, and especially buying presents. She loved hosting parties. Rose enjoyed catering for wedding, dinners and parties.

Rose was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had a strong belief in following Jesus Christ example. She was a volunteer at the Albuquerque LDS Temple for many years.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 10:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Indian School. Following the service, the graveside will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
