Rose was born to Esther and Seferino Moncayo. She was one of the youngest of 13 living children. Rose lived in Puerto de Luna as a child, and later moved to Santa Rosa NM.
After marrying Epitacio Lucero and having 3 children, Bernadette Robinson, Robenette Bloom and Peter Lucero, the family moved to Albuquerque where Rose managed a variety of department stores, enjoying her career in retail.
After the loss of Epitacio, Rose was lucky to meet Edward Guldy, her new husband who came with a bonus of 2 adult children, Edward Guldy Jr., and Heidi Kellam.
Rose eventually changed careers and became a multi-million-dollar real estate agent whom she partnered with her husband at Hooten Stahl Realtors.
Upon retiring from real estate, Rose wanted to have fun in her next chapter of life. She became a preschool teacher for YDI Head Start. Rose was known throughout the school for being glamorous and one of the best teachers ever! Rose cared for and taught her preschool children as if they were her own.
Upon the death of her husband Edward Guldy, Rose decided to retire completely and enjoy her life to the fullest. She enjoyed her grandchildren, Nicole Day, Francis Bain, Garet Bronner, Megan Bronner, Bryan Bronner, Felicity Jackson, Alina Guldy and Richard Lucero. Rose also got to meet her great-grandchildren, Landon , Nala , Nova, Jeffrey, and Rayden.
When Rose met her current husband William Conner, she knew she would have him for the rest of her life! She lived a beautiful life with Bill in Algodones NM. She had a huge yard where she had 4 pet goats whom she adored with all her heart. She thoughtfully named each goat to suit their personality. Rose passed in the graces of her husband holding her hand, as he always did.
Rose was selfless, she cared for others frequently, she cared for her mother as she passed holding her hand, her brother James Moncayo, as she also held his hand in his passing. She volunteered at Paloma Blanca Nursing Home praying the rosary and giving out communion to those in the facility. She was a Eucharistic Minister for San Ignacio Church shut in's and prayed whole heartedly with people in need.
Rose got to travel a lot of the world to include Russia and other countries, she always made it a point to find a catholic church wherever she traveled to.
Rose was greeted in heaven by many, a few to mention, her mother, her father, brothers and sisters, late husbands , in laws and friends, too many to name, but with open arms she was greeted.
