Rosalie Gutierrez

Rosalie Gutierrez passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at her home with her husband and her babies (dogs) by her side.

Rosalie was born on Saturday, November 11, 1950, to Martin and Ramona Gonzales in Tucumcari, NM. She was preceded in death by her Father Martin Gonzales Jr. and her Brother James David Gonzales.

Rosalie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry Gutierrez Sr.; her son, Larry Gutierrez Jr. and his wife Tanya Atencio-Gutierrez; her mother, Ramona Gonzales; brother, Martin ( Marty) Gonzales III, and his wife Debbie Martinez; and brother, Richard ( Rick) Gonzales and his pack (dogs). She is also survived by her niece and doddaughter, Sarah Gonzales and her Fiancé Albert Chaidez and their children Oliver and Emilia; nephews, Martin Gonzales IV, JD Gonzales, Stephen Gonzales, and niece and goddaughter, Gwen Haworth and her son Brian James.

Rosalie took on the name " Mama Rose" because she took care of many kids for her family and closest friends. She was also a very loving mother and homemaker who did everything and anything she could for her family. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cake decorating, and watching movies with her son. She loved music and you would always catch her with a diet coke in her hand and a cigarette in her mouth. She also loved all night outings at the casino with her husband and was a big fan of Godzilla. She was a best friend to many and was always there to listen and give her opinion whether you wanted it or not. She was very outspoken but that's why she was loved and will be missed by so many.

Rosalie never liked being the center of attention and per her wishes there will be no services because she always expressed to her son " she didn't want anyone looking at her"
