Rosalia Juarez

Rosalia "Rosalie" Juarez was born in Los Valles de San Agustin, New Mexico, on October 5, 1935, and passed away on January 12, 2026.

Rosalie is survived by her children, Paul Juarez and wife Shirley, Barbara Juarez, and Carla Juarez; her siblings, Alice Arguello, Mabel Gabaldon, Maria Lucero and husband Lizardo, Dolores Huerta and husband Lorenzo, and Damian Lujan; her seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Jr., Katharine, Andrew, Dylan, Daniel, James and Julian; her five great-grandchildren, Bella, Parker, Calvin, Victoria Rosalia, and Seneca; her many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benito Juarez Jr.; her parents, Petra and Jose Damian Lujan; her brother, Manuel Lujan; and her sister, Theresa Lujan.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE in Albuquerque, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on January 23, 2026, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5300 Claremont Ave. NE in Albuquerque followed by burial at 11:30 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE in Albuquerque.
