Rosalia Landa DeBenedictis

Rose passed away peacefully: lovingly cared for by her five children and caregivers in her final years. She smiled often and enjoyed much laughter throughout her life.

Born in El Paso, Texas, she met and married William J. DeBenedictis Jr., while he served in the Army at Fort Bliss.

The Army sent them to France, Connecticut, and New Mexico, where she helped Bill start a flight school, FBO, air charter, ambulance, and commuter airline serving Roswell.

She received her master's degree in education from Arizona State and retired as a teacher before moving to Albuquerque, where she loved singing in her church choir, tennis, pickleball, and her animals.

Interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery alongside Bill. Always in our hearts.
