Rosa Ruiz

Rosa Ruiz was born on November 13, 1943, in Laredo, Texas, and entered Heaven on May 16, 2026. Rosa is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Roberto Ruiz; her son, Roberto Jr. Ruiz; and her grandson, Isaiah Ruiz.

Rosa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will always be remembered for her joyful and contagious spirit. Rosa was a beautiful example of praising God through both life's storms and its joys.

She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Norma Ruiz and Doris Gallegos; and by her granddaughters, Ashley Gallegos, Melissa Gallegos, Rochelle Ruiz, and Sasha Ruiz.

Rosa enjoyed sitting on her porch in her white rocking chair with snacks beside her and her sweetheart, Roberto, by her side. She made the world's best tamales and loved sharing them with everyone around her. Rosa and Roberto's home was a sanctuary for their granddaughters - a place where the door was always open and everyone was welcomed with love.

Rosa will be forever loved, cherished, and deeply missed.

There will be a Memorial Service for Rosa on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 1:00 pm at FRENCH Lomas. Followed by a graveside service at 2:30 pm at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
