Robert "Bobby" Lue, 56, passed away from COVID19 and other health complications Friday, December 11, 2020.
He is survived by his beautiful bride of almost 30 years Dianne; children, Tavianna and husband Toby, Jonathan, and Kristofer; his mother, Loretta; sisters, Jackie, Patricia and Leslene; and brother, Dennis. He is also survived by five granddaughters, Kayleigh, Sophia, Alyssa, Anastasia and Juliet; and many other family and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Lester; and his son, Tyler.
Mr. Lue served our country in the United States Air Force and the US Air National Guard. He was currently working for the Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland Air Force Base. Bobby was a kind and generous man who deeply loved his wife. He had a ready and generous laugh and a great loyalty for those he loved. He loved those he worked with and everyone who met him was touched and changed by him in some way. Bobby enjoyed building remote control vehicles and camping with family. He kept himself occupied during the pandemic by playing with legos and his computer games as well as work in his backyard (okay, not the truth...he hated yard work and left that to Dianne).
He will be greatly missed.
When possible, a memorial gathering will be scheduled in 2021 with Air Force honors at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
