Robert Emmett Sheridan

Robert Emmett Sheridan of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Born January 18, 1943 in New Jersey, Robert was raised as an only child by his father and mother, Robert and Helen Sheridan.

As a child, Robert excelled in science and mathematics and went on to study both at Pennsylvania State University receiving a Baccalaureate and Master’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering as well as a Master’s degree in Computer Science. Robert’s work experience included Associate Research Engineer for Boeing, Senior Experimental Engineer for Pratt Whitney Aircraft, Project Leader/Technical Leader for the Defense Nuclear Agency, and a Senior Systems Engineer for Northrup Grumman Corporation. In addition, he was a mathematics and/or physics instructor for El Paso Community College, Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, and Central NM Community College.

His hobbies included his 1969 Pontiac GTO, patronizing local restaurants regularly, such as Annie’s Soup Kitchen and Pelicans Restaurant, and watching and collecting DVD movies. He is survived by his beloved aunt, Elsie and her son, Raymond Raabe and his wife, Patricia, and many friends made over the years. Robert’s personal life revolved around his dog Annie. His love and devotion to Annie included daily walks, special toys, and frequent treats.
