Robert Douglas Plunkett

Bob Plunkett was born in Superior, Wisconsin on July 12, 1923.  He died on December 21, 2017 from complications of fluid in the lungs.  He is survived by brothers, Virgil, Dennis and Rolland; stepchildren, Gene, Eddie, Bobby, Mike, Teena and David; children, Mark, Doug, Joan and Annie; 26 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by first wife, Ruth; second wife, Maggie; stepchildren, Dawn and Brian; and daughters-in-law, Linda and Barbara.  Special thanks to the staff and residents at Palmilla Senior Living for the love and care provided for Bob.  Thank you Robert Laguna,  Gene and Sandy Uhl for everything you did and for the well-being of Pops.    Friends may visit Wednesday, December 27, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  at FRENCH – Lomas.  Rosary will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017, 10:30 a.m.  followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee.  Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Legion of Mary OLA, www.olacc.org/legionofmary.html.  For the grace of God, Bob is Home with Jesus, our Savior.  Thank you Lord!
