Robert Terry Matthews, 86, passed quietly in his sleep on January 25, 2021. He was a Loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle. His love for Jane never wavered or faltered. He loved his country, his Navy, basketball, golf, and education. After finally retiring, he became a zealous painter. He rarely took requests but instead painted what was within him. He would paint all year long only to give them away. Cremation has taken place and he will be interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
