Robert Lafayette West Turner

Robert L.W. Turner, an Albuquerque resident for over 50 years, passed away July 23, 2020. Bob’s battle with cancer commenced in February 2007. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Deana, the love of his life and his best friend for 54 years.

Bob and Deana loved to travel and traveled to Europe, the Caribbean and South America. They flew mostly but often travelled by cruise ships.

Bob is survived by daughter Kim Ward and husband Scott of Edgemont, South Dakota; Granddaughter Kandice Ruyle and husband Jeremy, great grand children Jordan and Brenden of Rapid City, South Dakota; Son Robert D. Turner and wife Jacqui of Albuquerque; Granddaughter Caitlyn Turner, great grand children Corban and Camila of Albuquerque.

Bob and Deana had a saying, “love your children and grandchildren and be there when they need you.”

The family has requested no flowers and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
