Robert Arthur Fawver

Robert (Bob) Arthur Fawver, born on September 7, 1938, in Freeport, Illinois, passed away on August 15, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, and survived by his eldest son, Matthew, wife Tracy, children Lilliana and Greyson, and his youngest son, Christopher. A longtime resident of Albuquerque, Bob felt most comfortable in a garage. He built hot rods in his younger years to race at the local dragstrip. He enjoyed conversations about how things worked mechanically, and his love for the UNM Lobos. Bob was also an avid reader and had an extensive book collection. Everyone who met him quickly became aware of his sharp wit, sense of humor and vibrant personality. Interment will take place at 3:00pm at Sunset Memorial Park on Friday, August 28, 2026, followed by a celebration of life at 5:00pm. Please contact the family for details.
