Robert Duryea

Robert Arthur Duryea, PhD of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away peacefully in his home on October 3, 2025. Born February 13, 1951, in South Egremont, MA to Theodore and June Duryea, Robert was a kind, curious, and caring young man. Robert retired as a colonel after 25 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. During this time, he was a caring mentor to many and he lead with integrity and concern for those in his command.

A devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marie, his sons, Andrew (Mara) and Ryan (Jen); and by four beloved grandchildren, Josephine and Doren, and Max and Sam, and his sister Ruth Ostrom. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother William. No services are planned at this time.
