Robert Christopher Castaldo-Nys

Robert Christopher Castaldo-Nys passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, after a long and hard-fought battle with many ailments.

Robert was a bright spot in so many people's lives - sharing an uncanny wit, genuinely caring heart, impeccable character and bright blue eyes that warmed our souls.

He recently enjoyed a couple of hot air balloon rides with his spouse - having ".... slipped the surly bonds of earth...".

Now his own essence has done so peacefully.

He leaves behind his husband, Thomas Nys; his brother, Eric Behring; his stepchildren, Angela Hartley-Rice and David Hartley along with many friends and family members.

A Rosary will be held  on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho - 87124.
