Robert George Backs, Jr., age 78, passed from this life into eternal life with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, August 28, 2023. Robert was preceded in death by his grandson, Alex Backs, and grand dogs, Bonnie and Wilson. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 58 years, Ellen, and son and daughter- in-law, Larry and Dawn Backs. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Mary Bay for her kindness and caring for Bob through the years.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., FRENCH - Westside. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, 11:00 a.m., Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
