Rita Maria Slam, 82, died peacefully in her home, January 28, 2026.

A private funeral for immediate family will be held Tuesday February 10th, 2026 at 9:00am followed by a private burial at Sunset Memorial park.

Rita Maria Slam was born January 1st, 1944 to parents John Chojnacki and Sophia Foltynski in Warren, Ohio.

Mrs. Slam is survived by her children Cherry Judge, Ronnie Slam and wife Eva, Lisa Mitchem and husband Phillip, and Deborah Sanchez and husband Marcial; 12 grandchildren Crystal, Dawne, Randy, Michelle, Brittanie, Bradley, Douglas, Laticia, Christopher, Anniela, Elianna, and Stephen; 18 great grandchildren Randall, Conner, Hero, Legend, Christopher, Gabriel, Madison, Ryder, Dot, Anthony, Isaiah, Jordan, Bellah, Scarlett, Adayln, Christopher Jr., Michiah, Xander; and 1 Great Great Granddaughter Carla.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Slam.
