Richard Carl Wahlberg

Richard Carl Wahlberg, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on June 6, 2015. Richard was born to A. Theodore and Gunhild Bjork Wahlberg in Chicago on November 7, 1931. He graduated from Fenger High School in 1949 and served in the United States Air Force, assigned to Albuquerque, from 1952 to 1956. He then joined Sandia National Laboratories and worked for 38 years before retiring in 1994. Rich married his high school sweetheart, Janice Ruth Anderson, on December 27, 1952. Rich and Jan enjoyed traveling and the outdoors, and spent many weekends camping in NM forests with family and friends. During retirement, they enjoyed long trips around the country in their trailer. Rich was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Glenn. He is survived by his wife, Jan; daughter, Cindy Graham, and her husband, Mark; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
