Richard Paul Rosenthal, born on February 7, 1956, in Park Forest, IL, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Albuquerque, NM. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Rick is survived by his wife, Pam, and their three daughters, Carrie, Brianne, and Melissa and son in law, Fernando. He adored being a grandpa to Destiny and Emilio. He is also survived by his sister Jan and brothers, Stephen and Victor, along with their wives, Sara and Rose.
Rick dedicated many years of his life to sales. Most recently at Robert's Trucking, where he was known for his work ethic and friendly demeanor. Outside of work, he had a passion for traveling, always eager to explore new places. He found joy in gardening, woodworking, fishing, and golfing. He was also known for his meticulous budget plans, reflecting his foresight and care for his daughters' financial well-being.
A true Chicago Cubs fan, Rick, always wore his Cubs gear with pride whether they won or (mostly) lost. He was also a dedicated church volunteer, exemplifying his generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Rick had a special connection with dogs and he loved spending time with pets, considering them part of the family.
He will be remembered for his big heart, compassionate nature, and the many cherished memories he created with family and friends throughout his life. His legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Richard was preceded in death by: Howard Rosenthal, Evelyn Rosenthal, Fernando Gutierrez III.
A Memorial Service will be held at Legacy Church- East Campus on April 29, 2026, at 10:00 am, with a reception to follow.
