Richard Laws

Richard H. Laws, age 86, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and dear friend, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, March 24, 2025, after a long illness.

A resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1968, he is survived by his daughters, Sandra Richerson and Ann Marie Figura, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annette Laws.

Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He built his life and career as a skilled mechanic, machinist, and carpenter - a trade passed down to him by his father. His hands were rarely still, and through his work he left behind not just projects, but a legacy of dedication.

He loved attending church every Sunday, where he found strength in his faith and joy in fellowship. Known for his welcoming smile and enjoyable conversation, Richard made friends with nearly everyone he met.

Above all, he was devoted to his family. He worked tirelessly to ensure his loved ones were cared for and provided for, always putting them first. His presence, guidance, and love will be deeply missed. I love you Dad.
