Richard Jay Inklebarger

Rick was born in Altus, Oklahoma. He was born on August 21, 1943. He left this world for a better place on July 7, 2025 at the age of 81. He had been ill for a couple of years and his heart finally gave out. He was a great husband, father, Pawpaw, brother, and friend.

A family visitation was held on July 11, 2025, at FRENCH - Lomas.

Rick worked for Continental Airlines for 18 years and Federal Express for 20 years. He retired in Farmington, New Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie of 57 years; his son, Jeff and wife, Cristine Inklebarger; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Cameron, and Claire Inklebarger. He loved his family dearly. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Sonja Brossette and Edwina Welch; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his twin sisters, Pauline Brown and Jeanne Lawrence; and mother and father, Leona and Jay Inklebarger.

Rick requested that he have no funeral services because his wishes were to have a celebration of life with family and friends.

Date and time have not been decided.

He will be missed by his family and friends and they would like to thank the nurses and doctors that cared for him at Presbyterian Hospital.
