Rebecca Louisa Baca

Rebecca Louisa Baca, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. Rebecca was born in Moquino, NM on Friday, January 21, 1938.

She retired in Grants, NM from the State of New Mexico Children, Youth, and Families Department and moved to Rio Rancho, NM in 2002. 

Rebecca’s passion was reading books from the library and working on crossword puzzles. She was an Avid Catholic and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Luis M. Baca, and Andrea M. Baca both of Grants, NM. She is survived by her son; Gary L. Baca, grandsons; Luis M. Baca and Alejandro J. Baca; daughter in law, Esmeralda Salinas, sister; Sally Martinez and husband Ramon Martinez of Rio Rancho, NM, brother; Clifford Baca and wife June Baca of Grants, NM, four nephews, one niece and numerous family and friends. 

Rebecca will be laid to rest with her mother at Grants Memorial Park Cemetery in Grants, NM.

We will miss her dearly. 

Rosary will be recited by Anna Garcia on Friday, April 19, 2024; 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Rio Rancho, 1275 Unser Blvd NE.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Thomas of Aquinas Church.
