Raymond Henry (Baros) Baros

September 2, 1948 — December 14, 2020

Raymond H. Baros, 72, Veteran, business owner, and longtime resident of Seminole, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 in Tijeras, New Mexico. Raymond was born in Denver, Colorado and was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is survived by his daughter, Renae Lockwood (Kirk); sons, Raymond A. Baros (Gayle), and Victor Ray Baros (Yvonne); brother, Jimmy; as well as several nieces and cousins. Raymond has six grandchildren, Cherilynn Johnson (Daniel), Alesha Robledo (Ozzy), Alyssa, Linda, Victoria and Angela, and three great-grandchildren, Tristan, Jurnee, and baby girl Johnson (April 2021). Ray was preceded in death by his Mother Dolores, Father Henry, and sisters Tina and Patsy. Since the early 80s, Raymond owned and operated Rey’s Exxon, and Rey’s Service Center & Wrecker Service in Seminole, Texas. Raymond worked hard, and he played even harder. He enjoyed racing cars and boats, riding his Chopper and Harley Davidson cross-country with his buddies, hunting, fishing, and camping, but the greatest joy in his life came from spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rest in peace, “The World’s Greatest Grandpa – you will be missed dearly.” A Celebration of Raymond’s life will be held at a later date in Seminole, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico. He will be interred in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
