CHAVEZ, RALPH Ralph, age 60, a resident of Albuquerque, born November 2, 1952, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Mr. Chavez is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Dolores; mother, Theresa Chavez; son, Andrew Chavez and wife, Terri; daughters, Pam Chavez and her husband, Felipe and Kristy Vasquez and her husband, Ricardo; 10 grandchildren, Alicia, Angelica, Aneles, and Aracelli Vasquez, Jesse, JohnnyRay and Selena Chavez and Jackson, Sam and Thomas Chavez; brothers and sisters, Salvador and wife, Dorothy, John and wife, Helen, Felix and wife, Vicki, Pat and wife, Annette, Paul and wife, Juanita, Rita and husband, Cliff, and Antoinette and husband, Lonnie; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ray and wife, Kelly, Billy, Tony, Lorraine and husband, Ruben, Albert, and Annette and husband, Guy; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Chavez and in-laws, Herman and Terry Sanchez. Mr. Chavez loved serving his country in the US Marine Corps for eight years and retired after 30 years from the US Postal Service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family, hunting and fishing. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway Blvd SE, with visitation one hour prior from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 17. 2013, 10:30 a.m. at San Jose Parish. Interment with military honors will follow at 1:30 pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
