Rafael and Rosalina Rubio

Rafael and Rosalina Rubio passed away on April 12, 2026. They are survived by their two sons: Roger Anthony Rubio and wife Angelica Rubio, and Rafael Michael Rubio and wife Laura Rubio. They were grandparents to Alejandro Rubio, Mateo Rubio, Elliana Rubio, and Jonah Rubio. Both were born in El Paso, TX: Rosalina on December 25, 1943 and Rafael on June 6, 1944. They were high school sweethearts and married on December 16, 1967. They moved to Long Beach, CA in 1978, where Rafael worked for the Space Division of the U.S. Air Force. They settled in Albuquerque, NM in 1984 where Rafael worked as the Environmental Health and Safety Director for the U.S. Air Force. Rosalina Rubio worked for over 15 years in Tax Preparation for H&R Block. They built a beautiful family together and will be missed greatly. Their love and devotion to each other lasted a lifetime and they made this final journey together. A memorial service for Rafael and Rosalina Rubio will be held on May 1st, 2026 at 10 a.m. at FRENCH-Wyoming.
