Rae Ellen, Nickerson.

Rae Ellen, age 78, a resident of New Mexico since 1955, passed on to a better life on Sunday, March, 22, 2026. She is survived by her brother, Charles Nickerson of Rio Rancho, NM, and her sister, Cheryl Sanchez of Algodones, NM, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Rae Ellen was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Nickerson, and her mother, Opal Nickerson. Because of her disabilities, her sister Cheryl acted as her guardian after Opal's death.

Although Rae Ellen could not communicate well with words, she was very good at communicating love and friendship! She will be greatly missed.

Also, I want to express my gratitude to Anna Lima who has been her loving caregiver for 7 years. Also, to Lynn Todd who was her caregiver for many years before Anna took over. Both women were wonderful caregivers and Charlie and Cheryl are indebted to them.
