Quintella Speis passed away peacefully and gracefully on February 6, 2026, in the comfort of
hospice care, with her loving niece and devoted caretaker, Sherrie, at her side. She was born on
October 13, 1946, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and lived a life defined by love, strength, and
unwavering devotion to her family.
As the oldest girl among seven siblings, Quintella naturally stepped into a caring role early in
life, helping to raise and look after her brothers and sisters. That nurturing spirit remained with
her always and became one of her most cherished qualities. She was known for her caring heart,
infectious smile, warm hugs, and a sunshine personality that could brighten even the darkest day.
Quintella built a beautiful life rooted in hard work and dedication. She worked as a key punch
operator and later became co-owner of a corner store in Edgewood, New Mexico, alongside the
love of her life, Charlie Cronover. No matter where she worked, she carried herself with kindness
and grace.
Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She is lovingly survived by her two daughters, Jolene
and Kristi, along with many other family members who loved her deeply. She adored being a
grandmother and took every opportunity to spoil her grandchildren, Justin and Hanna. Her heart
grew even fuller with the arrival of her great-grandchild, Alex, who brought her immeasurable
pride and happiness.
Grandma Quintella loved sports - especially football and racing - and never missed her
favorite soap operas. Whether cheering on a team, watching a race, or following her shows, she
embraced the simple joys of life with enthusiasm.
Quintella's legacy is one of warmth, generosity, and unconditional love. She leaves behind a
family strengthened by her example and countless memories filled with laughter, comfort, and
affection. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the
hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
