Phyllis I. Warner

Phyllis I. Warner went to be with Jesus Friday, August 14, 2026, at the age of 91. She was born Phyllis Irene Dawes in Albuquerque, New Mexico on February 10, 1935. Phyllis was a member of First Baptist Church of Albuquerque since the 1970s.

Phyllis was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Patterson (1979); husband, John Warner (2014); and grandson, John Weaver (2021). She is survived by three children: daughters, Deborah (Charles) Weaver and Karen (Frank) Shope; son, Douglas (Julie) Patterson; stepdaughter, Donna Warner; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Phyllis loved bowling, which she did with Raymond in couples leagues and during the day in a women's league. Phyllis and John loved to travel. They traveled the east coast to visit his family and the west coast to visit their dear friends Mike and Timmie. She was a member of the Garden Club here in Albuquerque and raised beautiful roses at her home.  Phyllis worked at Stromberg's Men's Wear in Winrock for 19 years and Central Trailer Supply for 6 years before retiring.

Phyllis loved her family and enjoyed holidays and birthdays that brought them all together. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church of Albuquerque, 4101 Paseo Del Norte Blvd. NW, with reception to follow.
