Phyllis Jane Uhde

Phyllis Jane Uhde, 91, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on April 6th, 2018 peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Phyllis was born on March 17, 1927 in Bradgate, Iowa. She was married to, Earl E. Uhde in 1945. She and her family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1989 from Belmonte, California. Phyllis retired from U.S. Postal Office after many years of service. She enjoyed bowling, quilting and cooking. Phyllis devoted her life to Christ at an early age and is remembered for her dedication to volunteering often at Central United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Uhde; her children, Diana L. Rudy, Keith W. Uhde, Gary L. Uhde, Becky J. Uhde; and 3 grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Vincent (Caryl) Uhde, Elaine M. Uhde, Earl (Donna) Uhde, Thomas B. Uhde; 16 grandchildren; 33 great- grandchildren; and 3 great great- grandchildren.

A celebration of Phyllis’ life will be held on Friday April 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH – University. Burial Services will be held immediately after at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
