Born on July 16, 1957 at Fort Hood, Texas, died October 22, 2013 after a long battle with diabetes. He is survived by his parents, Frank and Lucy Day; grandmother, Valaria Anderson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his son, Zachary Day serving in the US Air Force; brothers, Michael C. Day of Austin, Texas and Todd E. Day of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He will be interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a date to be determined. No flowers please, but contributions to the American Diabetes Association, would be appreciated.
