Safe in the arms of God, Irene passed away on June 7, 2017. She is survived by her daughters, Eileen and husband, Rudy, and Jeanie and husband, Vincente; grandson, RJ; beloved sister, Rufina Griego; and numerous wonderful nephews, nieces and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Margarita; father, Miguel Gurule; brother, Mike Gurule Jr., and also by Herman Romero Jr.
Rosary will be recited Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m., both at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 4th and Alameda NW. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery.
