Pauline (Noel) Taylor

February 2, 1932 — April 25, 2023

Pauline Noel Taylor, born February 2, 1932, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Pauline was a wonderful wife and shared a deep commitment to her loving husband, Donald C. Taylor, for 73 years. They met when she was 17 and he was 20. They both transplanted to Albuquerque from Cincinnati, OH, with their respective parents and siblings, but they did not meet until after they moved to Albuquerque. It was love at first sight for the two and that love continued to grow during their life together as they raised their children, Marsha Starr Taylor, Donald (Donnie) B. Taylor (preceded in death on Feb. 7, 1994), David A. Taylor, and Douglas (Doug) L. Taylor.

Pauline was a wonderful mother and her children's greatest cheerleader. She was actively involved in their various activities and adventures with the Blue Birds and Campfire Girls with Marsha and the Cub Scouts leader even named her Cub Coach for the tireless work she did with the Den.

She treasured her 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren and loved her daughters-in-law, Janice Taylor, married to David, and Sharon Taylor, married to Doug, and all her grandsons-in-law. She also had numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews she loved dearly and enjoyed spending time with them whenever she could.

Pauline was a charter member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and first attended services in the minister's living room. She later transitioned as a member of the Peralta Methodist Church in 2003 when she and her husband moved to Los Lunas.

Pauline loved the Lord and had a servant's heart, especially in her desire to serve in the children's ministry for most of her adult life. She had many talents that she believed were gifts from the Lord, which included sewing, macrame, needle point, crochet, embroidery, and knitting and gifted many of her creations to family and friends.

Whenever possible, Pauline enjoyed camping with family and friends and often shared many of her memories she spent at Blue Water, San Gregorio, and Santa Barbara. She also shared many memories of times spent with her very dear friends, known as the Coffee Clutch. Pauline, Bill, Clovis, Jean, and Marsha spent many Saturday mornings chatting over coffee, crafting, and planning their trips to Disneyland.

Pauline, a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, aunt, and friend, will be missed dearly but will never be forgotten. She will live in our hearts forever until we can be with her in heaven.

The pallbearers are Tom Gallegos, Kendall Ritchie, Dominique (Doey) Davis, Michael (Mike) Davis, Marcus Chavez, Alan Taylor, and Thomas Taylor.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., Peralta Methodist Church, 25 Wesley Rd, Peralta, NM 87042.
