Pauline M. Gutierrez, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on December 20, 2025. Pauline was born in Belen, New Mexico, on August 21, 1937, to Clovis and Tomasita Castillo.

Pauline is survived by her children, Carla (Jerome), Paul, and Mark; and by her cherished granddaughters, Rachel (Chris), Emily, Ashleigh, and Marissa. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Candido Gutierrez; her brothers, Wilfred and Albert; and her parents.

Pauline worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist at Kirtland Air Force Base. After retiring, Pauline encountered health challenges, yet she continued to meet each day with resilience and unwavering faith. She was a devout Catholic and a faithful member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, where her faith was a constant source of strength and comfort.

Pauline had a deep appreciation for gardening and found great joy and peace among her plants and flowers, many of which she knew by name. She took pride in her appearance and was known for her sense of style, enjoying shopping and dressing well throughout her life. Family was at the heart of Pauline's world, especially her parents, for whom she held an enduring love, respect, and devotion.

Pauline was also known for her warm and outgoing nature. A true social butterfly, she loved visiting with others and had a natural gift for conversation. Spirited and full of personality, she brought energy and warmth to every interaction, often leaving those around her smiling. Her lively presence and love for connection made her unforgettable.

Pauline will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her memory will be forever cherished.
