Pauline Thelma (Yannoni) Badillo (91)

Pauline was born on March 29, 1932, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a very active young woman and loved sports, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, traveling, cooking and being with her family. Her mother died when she was 12 so she became a big helper to her father as he raised his three young daughters. She went to school at St. Mary's elementary school, Washington middle school and graduated from Albuquerque High School. She later met and married the love of her life, Richard, and became an Air Force wife. She was excellent at performing her role in serving our country by supporting her husband and other service men and women in many ways. Her cooking and baking were always sought after in potlucks and other events. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents Anna (Gow) and Paul Yannoni, her brother, Louis (Vina) Yannoni, her sisters, Yolanda (Leo) Domenicali, Sylvia (Harold) Marcum and her son Michael Badillo. She is survived by her husband Richard, her daughters Denise (C J) Fietek and Elizabeth (David) Lopez, her daughter-in-law, Dolores Badillo, her grandchildren, Richard (Nicole) Badillo, Dominic (Fernando) Badillo, Vincente Badillo, David (Shy) Lopez and Victoria Lopez, her brother-in-law Ernest (Carmen) Badillo, sister-in-law Lourdes Otero, many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Pauline was a devout Catholic woman, a member of St. Charles Borromeo parish and supported many charities. She was kind and generous to everyone she met. Most of all she loved to spoil her children and grandchildren. We will miss you, Baby Doll/Mama/Nana!! A Rosary will be recited Monday, December 11, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be said Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM immediately following the Rosary, Interment will follow in Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
