Patty Ogden

Patty Ogden, age 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully in her home on May 26, 2026. She was born on February 28, 1937, in Bluewater, New Mexico, Patty's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with devotion to her family and a passion for nurturing beauty in her surroundings.

Patty was known for her stunning flower displays, which adorned her front yard. Her hands were never idle; whether she was planting flowers or managing a tree thinning crew deep in the Cibola National Forest, she approached every task with enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. Prior to dedicating her life to her family, Patty worked at the local bank, where her business acumen shone brightly.

In addition to her love for gardening, Patty had a unique collection of figurines that reflected her whimsical spirit. Patty loved her home, but she really enjoyed traveling with her husband in a motor home around the country with their poodles.

Patty is survived by her daughter, Barbara Edmonson; son, Flint Ogden; daughter-in-law, Krista Ogden, and son-in-law, Larry Edmonson. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Garrett Andrews, Kimberly Marie, David Ogden, and Benjamin Ogden, as well as great-grandchildren, Paulina Lizzi, Logan Lizzi, and Adonis Martin.

Patty was preceded in death by her husband, David Ogden, Jr.; her father, Jesus Salcido; her mother, Patrocinia Salcido; her daughter, Vicki Andrews, and her granddaughter, Morgan Andrews.

A graveside service will be held in her honor on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 pm., at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Patty's life and the wonderful memories she leaves behind. There will be a reception following the ceremony.
