Patrick "Pat" Amador, 87, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on October 30, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Pat was a hardworking, resourceful man who took great pride in owning and operating his business, PATSCO, which distributed CBU Mailboxes throughout New Mexico. A true jack of all trades, there wasn't much Pat couldn't do, or at least wouldn't try to figure out.
Pat enjoyed life's simple pleasures: a good round of golf, a competitive game of darts, and the occasional shot of whiskey. A natural jokester with a quick wit, he brought humor to everyday moments and left those around him smiling.
At the heart of Pat's life was his beloved wife, Agnes. Their love story began in high school and grew into 66 beautiful years of marriage. In their younger days, Agnes was often affectionately referred to as "Pat's Girl," to which she would proudly respond, I do have a name, you know! A small but treasured memory that perfectly captures the humor and enduring affection woven throughout their life together. From High School sweethearts to a lifetime of shared memories, their marriage was a testament to love, commitment, and growing old together.
Pat is survived by his loving wife, Agnes; his daughters, Claudia (Rick), Debra, and Donna; his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jonathan (Rivah), and Melissa (Christina); and his great-grandchildren, Alexis (Matthew), Alijah, Landen, Victoria, and Kara.
While his family will deeply miss his presence, his legacy lives on through the generations he helped shape, the laughter he shared, and the love he leaves behind. As we bid farewell to a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, we take comfort in knowing that a life so deeply woven into the hearts of others never truly leaves us. May he be welcomed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, where there is no more pain, only eternal peace. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
