Patricia Elaine Bianchi passed away peacefully at home in Albuquerque, NM with her dogs Simba and Branson by her side on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, after living a very full 80 years of life. In those years, she traveled the globe, shopped for the finest goods, cooked the most exquisite dishes, and above all embodied an unconditional, warm love for those in her life. She always displayed kindness and intentionality to everyone, from her husband of 45 years to the random passersby. Patricia truly did it all; she surfed up and down the California coast, threw extravagant parties, and still made time to attend and support her grandkids' activities.

She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 45 years, Richard Bianchi, her loving daughters, Michelle Bianchi and Kimberly and Daniel Rodgers, her 4 beloved grandchildren and their spouses: Josh and Brita Jumisko, Bianca and Cameron Ball, Isaac and Sydney Rodriguez, Faith Rodriguez, and so many cherished friends and family that she held dear to her heart.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Griego Saavedra and father, Abram Sanchez. On her mother's side, her sisters: Margaret Sanchez, Catherine Otero, and brother, Myron Saavedra. On her father's side, her sister, Geri Guzman and brother, Pio Sanchez.

Her remaining siblings: On her mother's side: Gil Saavedra and wife Lavern, Jeanette Saavedra, Vivian Saavedra-Nunez and husband John along with 11 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and nephews, 5 great, great nieces and nephews. On her father's side: Mariano Sanchez, Paul Sanchez and Barbara, Carol Vigil, Rebecca Romero, Richard Sanchez-Ortrud along with 19 nieces and nephews, 27 great nieces and nephews, 25 great, great nieces and nephews!

Her loving nature and generous spirit were known by all. She will be remembered for her endearing positivity in the face of adversity. During her hardships and health complications, she was a ray of hope all the way until the end. From her home by the Sandia mountains in Albuquerque to the golden coast of California, she embodied kindness and deep care for everyone, everywhere she went and traveled to. Her family is grateful for the time and beautiful memories that they shared with her. Patricia's legacy of compassion lives on in us, and her presence will be forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to either an animal rescue group or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

A Memorial Service for Patricia will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM at FRENCH-Wyoming, with a reception to follow.
