In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Perez Sanchez

Patricia Ann Perez Sanchez, lovingly known to family and friends as Pat, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born on January 1, 1947, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Patricia moved to Albuquerque in her twenties, where she built a beautiful life rooted in family, friendship, and faith. She was employed by Mountain Bell, where she formed lasting friendships and exemplified her strong work ethic and caring nature.

On December 11, 1971, Patricia married the love of her life, Antonio "Paul" Sanchez. Together they shared more than five decades of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.

Patricia's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Paul; her children, Michelle Church (Zane), Brandon Sanchez, and Paulette Dugas (John); her beloved daughter-in-law, Tracy Sanchez; her beloved niece, Eloisa Taylor, who was like a daughter to her; her beloved God Daughter Adrianna; her cherished grandchildren, DeAnne Padilla (Jerry), Nicole Parra, Dominique Murray (Zac), Krystalyn Geisler, Andres Lucero (Janet), Isaac Sanchez, Andrew Sanchez, Julian Dugas, Ethan Dugas, and Leila Dugas; and her adored great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Emiliano, Jizelle, River, Ryleigh, and Rhett. Her precious dog, Luna, will miss her dearly.

Patricia loved crocheting, Sewing, Baking and was the ultimate dance and baseball mom, always cheering on her children and grandchildren with pride. She enjoyed bowling, camping with friends, shopping, lunch dates, and spending time with her cherished group, the Vino Vixens.

A devoted member of the Catholic Church, Patricia lived her faith through kindness, generosity, and compassion. She never met a stranger and rarely turned down an invitation. Whether it was a family gathering, celebration, or simple get-together, Patricia's smile, warmth, and joyful spirit brightened every room she entered.

She was known for her impeccable style and graceful presence, always beautifully dressed and carrying herself with elegance. More importantly, she was admired for her generous heart, positive outlook, and wise advice. She had a special way of making everyone feel loved, welcomed, and important.

Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, creativity, and joy that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. While her family grieves her passing, they are deeply grateful for the countless memories she created and the example she set of a life well lived.

She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.

Pallbearers: Andres Lucero, Isaac Sanchez, Andrew Sanchez, Julian Dugas, Ethan Dugas and Aaliyah Huerta. Honorary Pallbearers Emiliano Trujillo, Leila Dugas, Jizelle Padilla and River Murray.
