Patricia Amlong

Patricia "Trish" Amlong, age 63, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, cherished memories, and a family who will forever carry her in their hearts.

Trish was born on September 14, 1962, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, the fifth of six children born to Ann and James (Jim) Amlong. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Jim Amlong.

Trish is survived by her mother, Ann Amlong; her children, Sean, Aubrey, and Jeremy; and her sons' spouses. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Mia, Alyssa, Tyler, Austin, Sophia, Bryce, and Carson, and she was blessed to be a great-grandmother to her great-grandson, Armani.

She is also survived by her five siblings, Debbie, Cathy, Shelley, Butch, and Chris, and their spouses, as well as 15 nieces and nephews.

For 25 years, Trish shared her life with her beloved partner, Tony King. Together, they created countless memories, especially through their love of traveling and taking cruises.

Trish had a vibrant spirit and a personality that made her impossible to forget. She loved country music, dancing, laughing, traveling, and spending time with the people she loved. Her nieces and nephews knew her as their "fun aunt," a name that perfectly captured the joy and energy she brought into their lives. She had a way of making people laugh and making ordinary moments feel special.

Trish was also a passionate and devoted lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved watching them play and proudly cheering them on.

Above all, Trish loved her family. She treasured being a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and great-grandmother. Her greatest legacy will not simply be the years she lived, but the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the memories she created with the people fortunate enough to know her.

Though she will be deeply missed, Trish's spirit will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandson, siblings, nieces and nephews, Tony, and all those whose lives she touched. Her laughter, her love of life, and the memories she gave her family will remain with them always.

A celebration of Trish's life will be held on September 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at French's Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM 87109.
