Orris Herman Moseley

Orris H. Moseley went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2026 at the age of 97. He was born in Edgewood, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque since 1945. Orris farmed pinto beans with his family in Edgewood in his youth.

He married Audrey Ann Hilsdorf in 1950, and enjoyed camping, traveling and fishing. Orris worked for Creamland Dairies for 35 years. He had a joyful and positive attitude throughout his life. He loved his Lord, Jesus and his family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Ann Moseley and his parents, Herman and Nellie Moseley and his sister Doris Morris.

Orris is survived by his sister, Gwen Van Doren and daughters, Joyce and husband, Mike Sweeney of Washington; Nell and husband Allen Prekker of Rio Rancho; Jerri and husband, Jeff Rose of Albuquerque; and grandchildren; Juniper, Dan and great-grandson, Finn; Jason and Stephanie; Orion and Lauren and great-grandson, Matia; Jennifer and James and great-grandsons, Witten and Weston; Cole and Loretta; Lydia and Brandon; Ryan; John and Anika and great-grandson, Corbin.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at French Funerals, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.

Funeral services and a reception will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The Interment will follow at Mountain Valley Cemetery, 761-771 Barton Rd, Edgewood, NM.
