Orlando A. Lopez, 96, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Clarita (Clara) Lopez; daughters, Berlinda Lopez-Rabe, and Theresa Lopez; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Matilde Otero, and Alice Uribe; brothers, Victor, Damon, and Meliton Lopez; as well as many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Orlando was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy and Alfred; two sisters, Polly and Olympia; and two sons, Philip and Gilbert. Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until a service at 7:00 p.m. at the FRENCH - Lomas Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 1, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, on the corner of Lomas and Tennessee NE, with Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
