Norman C. Troy Jr., age 69, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, caring brother, and loyal friend. His presence filled our lives in ways words can never fully capture, and his absence leaves a space that can never be replaced.
Norman was a man who showed his love through his actions. If he ever cooked for you, you knew you were truly loved. He found joy in caring for others, whether through a home-cooked meal, quiet support, or simply being there when someone needed him. He also took great pride in his home, especially his yard. His backyard was a place of beauty, care, and peace, just like the life he worked so hard to build.
Norman honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1994 after years of dedicated service. Following his military career, he continued working at various companies until his full retirement in 2025. Regardless of his location, Norman was recognized for his strong work ethic, dependability, and integrity.
Above all else, Norman cherished his family. He leaves behind a family forever changed by his loss, yet deeply grateful for the years, memories, and love they shared with him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Norman is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Vanessa; his children, N. Terrance, Tiffany (Todd), Lenora, and his treasured grandson, Aaron. He is also survived by his brothers, Joseph and Richard (Sharon), and his goddaughter, Ericka Graham. In addition, he leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Norman C. Troy Sr.; his sister Josephine; and his nieces, Monique and Tiaunna.
Norman's legacy of love, service, and quiet strength will live on in all who knew and loved him.
