Norman Larry Armijo

Norman Larry Armijo, 76, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 24, 2020.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ernestine Armijo; his son, Chris Armijo and wife Monica; grandson, Joseph Armijo; his sister, Leanora Armijo Vasquez and husband Mario; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tranquilino and Rose Lopez Armijo; and his brothers, Elizario Joe and Lorenzo Armijo.

Mr. Armijo served our country in the United States Air Force and was a superintendent at the New Mexico Air National Guard before his retirement.  He was a former member of The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Larry enjoyed a good game of golf and loved the outdoors, gardening and especially fishing and boating.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 31, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Berean Baptist Church, 3800 Eubank Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111 with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Berean Baptist Church, 3800 Eubank NE.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Berean Baptist Missions Fund.
