IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nicholas Arthur
Garrison
June 12, 1989 – March 11, 2026
Nicholas A. Garrison, 36, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born June 12, 1989, Nick was the kind of person who felt like comfort-someone you could call, sit with, and laugh with. He had an easy, genuine way of showing people they mattered, whether it was through a perfectly timed joke, a quiet check-in, or simply being there when it counted.
Nick was the beloved son of Julie Garrison. He is survived by his brother, Michael Garrison; his sister-in-law, Tabitha; his nephew, Wyatt; and his niece, Riley. He loved being "Uncle Nick," and his family meant everything to him-he showed that in the way he listened, the way he laughed with them, and the way he made time for the people he loved. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Kathleen Earl, and his uncle, Jonathan Earl.
Family was Nick's whole world-always first, always protected, always loved. He was kindhearted and deeply loving, with a sense of humor that could break through tension and bring people back to each other. During his illness, Nick showed a rare kind of courage. He carried what he was going through with strength and dignity, and he kept showing up with love-more concerned with everyone else being okay than drawing attention to himself.
Nick found a lot of peace in the simple things. He loved taking long drives-just getting out on the road, letting the day slow down, and clearing his head. His dog Rex was right there with him, his constant sidekick and best buddy. At home, Nick could happily settle in with Bones on the TV, and the people closest to him will remember how easy it was to laugh around him and how he made ordinary moments feel like time well spent.
Nick will be missed more than words can hold. He will be remembered for his humor, his gentle heart, and the steady love he gave so freely. The world feels different without him in it, but his memory will stay close-in every shared story, every long drive that brings him to mind, and every moment his family feels his love around them. We love you, Nick!
