Nellie Ash

Nellie M. Ash, 89, beloved Mother and Mema, was called to her eternal resting place on January 30, 2024. She entered this world on October 6, 1934 in Melrose, NM, to George and Dorothy Cardwell. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, nine grandchildren and their spouses, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Nellie enjoyed being a nurse for many years. After retiring, she opened a second-hand store, Bygone Days, in Bernalillo, NM where she resided for ten years. Nellie had the ability to make lifelong friends throughout every stage of her life. She will forever be missed. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University Chapel. Friends may visit beginning at 1:00 p.m.
