Nancy Ann Daily

Nancy Ann Daily, 89, passed away at her Albuquerque home on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Born on February 17, 1937 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, she was a long time Tulsa resident before moving to New Mexico. She was married to Robert Oscar Daily ("Bob"), and together raised three children: Kathryn Ann Daily, Robert Glenn Daily, and William Bently Daily. Her husband preceded her in death on August 14, 2021.

Nancy was a 1959 Home Economics graduate of Abilene Christian College, now Abilene Christian University. Although purportedly sent to ACC to find a husband who preached, her heart remained with her junior high and high school sweetheart - Bob. They were married 62 years.

She managed their household with grace, kindness, and strong Christian values. Nothing made Nancy happier than running a home that helped its inhabitants achieve great things. The only thing that came close to making her happier was getting her hair done - she absolutely loved it.

The couple moved to Albuquerque after Bob retired. There, they joined Sandia Presbyterian Church and stayed active with Sun Tours, Coronado Villa Retirement Resort, and their grandchildren. Nancy cherished the friendships she made at the Villa, and her surviving family is grateful she was never truly alone.

Survivors include her daughter Kathryn Ann Daily and her wife, Dorothy Baker, of Albuquerque; two sons, Robert Glenn Daily and his wife Angela of Washington, Missouri, and William Bently Daily and his wife Eldaá of Albuquerque; plus three grandchildren; Joe, Felix, and Oliver. Additional survivors include her sister, Carol Meyer, and her husband, Charles Meyer, of Ft. Worth.

Nancy's preferred charities included Susan G. Komen, the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, PBS-NM, and Sandia Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice or to one of the organizations listed above.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 10:00 am at Coronado Villa Retirement Resort.
